FILM FILM FILM.

LOL.
Wo i've been story boarding my film. Gotta change some stuff. I haven't finished it but I want to have an animatic by wednesday. :D

So i'm hoping that it'll be ok. I've been tring to do stuff in flash. I realized tha tif i'm gonna be here i need ot really learn how to use each and every single program that's on these computers. That's part of my education. Cal Arts leaves so much to be discovered on our own. Sorta frustrating but i've gotta learn how to do it.

I also have been trying to use photoshop. I suck at it. I'd much rather use open canvas but I've GOTTA learn photoshop. haha.a


So i did these as a reference




I've decided to set my film in the 50's. I thought that'd be a really fun interesting era to place it in. I could also play up alot of fun designey things. :D So i changed the boy's design some little boys clothes fromt he 50s. It'd be really cool then because i know that in the 50s gender roles were strong. hahaha. Oh i'm excited

I think if there's one thing about this year that i'm really proud of it, it's setting up plans and acutally making them happen. Yeah, my drawing need to improve, but I'm working at it. And i've learned that it's better to just DO something than to sit there and fus about it and get nothing. I've learned that frorm watching some other students here that don't show work in class because they don't think it's good enough or whatever. You put it up and you put it out there, the critique is given and you get better. Sure I look at a lot of my classmates and wish i were as good as them but honestly, I'm improving. I'm improving a lot. My habbits are getting better and the way i approach things is improving. I can't over look that. I'm working on changing my slight insecurities to inspirations. :) I'm so proud of my classmates. :D
